Lift access from the ground floor of Senate House up to the 4th floor, into the Library, is temporarily unavailable

The main lifts from the ground floor up to the 4th floor, into the Library, are currently out of use / being serviced. Should readers be unable to use the stairs please ask the ground floor reception desk to ring up to the Library. A member of staff will come down and escort you to the service lift. Please note that the service lift is quite narrow and may not be able to accommodate wheelchairs. Engineers are working on the lift to get it back into operation as soon as possible. Should readers have any issues accessing the Library please phone 020 7862 8468 or email shl.enquiries@london.ac.uk and we will do our very best to help. The library apologises for any inconvenience caused.
